The original version was featured on Astralwerks's "Unknownwerks" compilation in May '99. Funktastic Boombastic is a hard funky breaks track complete with original guitar licks, bass, synths and a vocal rap by Omnibus. One of the mixes is a funky house mix titled "The Mind, Body, Temple Mix". The F-Breaks Mix is a straight up funky breaks mix with human beatbox rhythms, intricate drum programming that explodes into a full on electro track.The last mix is a stripped down version of the F-Breaks Mix intended as a DJ groove tool with an emphasis on funky beats and ring mod rhythms.
